Debbie
Meet Debbie! This big lady is looking for a new home to decompress in following the transitional period of her life. Her previous owners noted that she enjoys “talking” with her people throughout the day to express her needs to go out or receive attention. Once comfortable in her new home you may note that she enjoys cuddling up under a blanket for a cozy nap. Debbie is recommended for a home without young children, and she will only be placed without other dogs.

Admiral Robert
Admiral Robert desperately needs out of the shelter so he can live his days in peace and not in the stressful shelter environment. He is estimated to be about 12-14. We can help figure out transport if a plan can be secured. Admiral Robert came in as a stray and no one came forward for him. He has masses throughout his body and has some arthritis due to possible hip dysplasia. He is on pain meds to help manage the arthritis and they seem to be helping him get around better. The shelter is definitely not a place for this old guy!

Tracy
Tracy is sweet, calm and gentle. Tracy is all kisses and She lost their beloved owner and his house was getting sold. At first she was lonely and confused, but adjusted very quickly. Good with dogs, easy to take care of. She is pleasant to a have around, never a nuisance, but she makes even chores a little bit more fun. She can be adopted with Lucia or seperately. Rocky
Rocky is very calm, sweet and seems to always be in a good mood, happy to join any activity or just be around. He has unique fuzzy heeler coloring, mostly silver wit a little bit of red. He is loving and dog friendly, wags his tail when meets a new dog. Loves to run and investigate outside, you can see joy and anticipation on his face. Was surrendered due to owner moving. Rocky would make a great companion to someone who prefers moderately active and mellow dog.

Daisy
Sweet Daisy was surrendered by the breeder because she was not fit for breeding any more. She spent her life in a kennel with a dog run and was quite cautious at first to go cross country in our big yard. Now she enjoys the freedom to run and the smell of rain and grass. Good with dogs. She is super sweet, calm and a little shy at first. She would love to be part of a family at last. She is our favorite and brings lots of joy to everyone she meets! Daisy needs a fenced yard with at least 5' tall fence as she can run very fast and far.

Norris
Calling all retirees! Looking for a best friend to spend your days with? Norris ideal home would be with a retired couple. He is a 9yr old, 65lb gentleman, with a heart of gold! He would love nothing more than to live out his golden years right by your side. Are you a routine kind of person? Then Norris is your guy! He is very routine driven and loves his breakfast at 0-seven-hundred and his leisurely morning walk right after (more sniffing than walking). He'll curl up right next to you on the couch for afternoon belly rubs and naps. He could snuggle all day (although he wouldn't turn down an afternoon walk) until dinner time and his evening stroll.
Norris ideal home would be with a retired couple that loves to walk. He LOVES walking and walks well on the leash most of the time. He is a strong guy, and sometimes pulls when he sees other dogs. He always checks in with you no matter what he is doing to make sure he is doing it right. He is an easy going guy that just wants to be loved. As an older guy he does not have much tolerance for kids, so no kids is a must. He would like a calm doggie sibling to show him the ropes and provide him comfort when his people are not home. He does not show interest in playing with other dogs, he just wants affection from his hoomans. He does great with his 55lb and 24lb foster dog siblings.
His story is sad, he was found abandoned in a house and had been there for quite some time without food. He came to the shelter 25lbs underweight. Because of being abandoned in a house, he does have some separation anxiety, which is totally understandable! He does ok if he has a calm doggy sibling to be left at home with, but he is most happy to be with his humans. He needs a patient, loving person who understands he has separation anxiety and is willing to help him build his confidence slowly. He loves and needs to have a set daily routine (this is good for his anxiety). Don't let these quirks lead you to overlooking this sweet boy, he truly is an amazing guy that just wants to be loved!

Dawn
I’m Dawn, an 11 year old female Boxer. I’m dog-friendly, mastering Dog Door 101, easing into intro-Relaxation in my foster home, expecting a manicure, very sweet, quiet, observant, and love me a good ole tennis ball.
Foster Mom adds: Dawn is a sweet, low key companion, not much for walks, loves to sleep and snuggle, doesn’t jump up on anything, breakfast and a tennis ball get her excited! She has the best boxer snorts and grunts.

Elsa
I'm an 8 year old boxer girl. Shy at first, I will quickly be putty in your hands! I love spending time with my humans. I am potty trained, crate trained, and know LOTS of obedience cues! I always come when called and I walk well on leash. While I prefer to be the only dog in the home, I don't make a fuss when passing dogs on a walk. I'm a quiet companion and rarely bark or get overly excited. I've lived with kids and enjoy their company too!

Tucker
Tucker, possibly an Irish Terrier mix, is an athletic guy, 45 pounds, who loves humans of all ages. He's goofy and smart (he has trained himself to open most doors!). He loves dressing up and posing! He was not socialized with dogs in his early years so will have to have a home without other dogs.
